Can I bring my own food and beverages?

Outside food and beverages are prohibited, with exceptions for wedding cakes and dietary-specific items that are not available at the venue. Please inquire for more specifics.

How do I reserve The Shores for my event?

To reserve The Shores, we require a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit. Event dates will not be held until this deposit is made. Please contact us.

Can I customize my event setup?

We offer flexible setup options, allowing you to tailor table arrangements, cutlery placement, and catering setups to fit the vision of your event. While we take care of the essentials, we invite you to bring your own personal touches to make the space truly your own as we do not offer decorating.

When can I start setting up for my event?

Setup times vary depending on your wedding package. If you book a one-day rental, you will have venue access at 8am. If you book an elite weekend rental, you’ll have much more time for setup and cleanup.

Is there lodging available for my guests?

Yes, Woodland Resort offers a variety of lodging options for your guests, including cabins, suites, and lodge units, all conveniently located steps from The Shores. Our lodging does fill quickly so we suggest making reservations or room blocks as soon as you secure your date.

Can I hold a business event or meeting at The Shores?

Absolutely! The Shores is equipped to host corporate meetings, presentations, business celebrations, galas, banquets, and more We have microphones, a projector, and other amenities to support your event. Please contact us!

Is there parking available for my guests?

Yes, we provide parking for events. Larger events may need to use our overflow parking. We ask that cars be removed from the lot by 8am the morning following your rental.

What is the capacity of the venue?

The Shores can accommodate up to 400 guests, offering both indoor and outdoor event spaces.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel your event within 12 months of the original date, your deposit is nonrefundable. Rescheduling may be allowed within a 12-month window.
